Certified and trained
The integration of drone technology has completely improved the efficiency and accuracy of solar farm inspections. DroneWize is specialized in solar park inspections, we are trained by the Infrared Training Center for thermography and in possession of the Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors to guarantee safety on location. The European aviation authorities have granted us operational authorization in accordance with European regulations. That is why we can also carry out drone operations in controlled airspace in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the rest of Europe.
Reporting
Drone thermography generates more accurate data that makes it easier to identify and locate problems within a solar panel. The data is collected in the air faster than on foot during a traditional I-V curve tests, and the use of drones keeps workers safer as they do not have to come into direct contact with electrical systems. We determine physical and visible module damage, including cracked/broken modules, thin film delamination, contamination and surface coverage of the PV module(s). Additional sub-module findings also include: diode errors, cell and multi-cell defects, and junction box failure. Suspected PID, shading issues from tree lines, obstacles or adjacent rows, and damage to rows and tables.
Based on the customer’s requirements, we are working together with RaptorMaps, Above Surveying and Sitemark for the reporting of the results.
